CD's.
The first CD is a very easy to understand tutorial which is divided into two sections.
The first section explains how to construct your folders which will store all your
information
so that these important files do not get lost in your computer.
The
CD will cover and explain in simple terms the current industry standards,
suggested
screen resolutions, image types, suitable fonts, backgrounds and
which Internet-friendly colours are best to use for your pages.
You
will learn how to make a basic page layout template, how to set up
the
template to accommodate simple hyperlinks, how to optimise your
web site,
and how to add the title, description, link colours and meta
tag keywords
which are vital for search engine use.
It will also explain
and demonstrate how to add hyperlinks to your pages
so that all the pages
link together. It will explain how to add email addresses
and links to other
selected web site addresses which are currently on the Internet.
It
will show you how to export your pages in readiness for uploading to your
internet provider's server.
The second section of CD1 explains how to upload your files using a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program.
The second CD contains your individual infomation folders which are ready to install on your computer,
and the two basic programs needed to commence the construction of your
web site. Also included in CD2 are a few sample layout templates, useful images,
buttons and photographs for you to practice with prior
to the commencement
of building your own web site.
